Changing perseptions of "Boo" Radley

One example of an event "Boo" Radley probably took place in was placing the items in the tree. When Jem asked Scout where he had gotten the gum "it was sitcking in that tree yander, the one comin back from school". I think this shows that "Boo" is just as curious as the kids are about finding out more about them (in the kids case him). A second event that takes place is when the kids are outside teh Radley house after Miss. Maudie's house caught on fire and it is freezing cold outside then when Scout returns home she has a blanket and she does not have the slightest clue where it came from, i think that event especially shows that "Boo" is in reality a very nice and caring person apposed to evil as the rumors make him out to be. But throughout the story my opinion on "Boo's" real character has not really changed. From the beginning i have figured the rumors and stories about him were not actually true and just folklore.

The discussion Scout had With Miss.Maudie just added to my original hypothesis that "Boo" Radley is really a good person and not the bad person the stories make him out to be. Also supporting my theory is that Miss. Maudie even said as a child "Boo" always spoke nicely to her. Also since Atticus said that the game was mean because they were mocking "Boo" Radley i think its safe to say that Atticus also knows that "Boo" is actually a good person. So in conclusion i think "Boo" is just a victim of rumors and he is not actually a bad person.
